The Tai Chi Chuan forms are taught worldwide and are renowned for their health benefits. Traditionally, students of Tai Chi Chuan engage in martial arts training that encompasses not only the empty hand and weapons forms but also a comprehensive martial program. Unlike hard martial arts such as Karate and Kung Fu, which focus on offensive fighting styles, Tai Chi Chuan is classified as a soft martial art, emphasizing self-defense techniques that are unique to its practice. This group class program enables students to train with various body types and sizes, providing a realistic exposure to martial arts training, all within a controlled and safe environment. We refrain from taking our opponents to the ground to minimize the risk of training injuries.
