My interest in writing goes back to when I was a young boy. I was a prolific reader, starting with the Hardy Boys series and moving on to various genres including science fiction books, action adventure, fantasy, and horror. After college, I began my own writing journey, focusing on post-apocalyptic novels, and I have three completed works that are scheduled to be self-published in 2026. In addition to these projects, I also engage in Tai Chi writing projects that further inspire my creativity.

After a Russian scientist accidentally unleashes a forgotten bioweapon, the world collapses in mere days. In the ruins of Phoenix, an everyday family led by the pragmatic Joe must learn to kill to survive, while Rick, a tough-as-nails fabricator, armors an RV to navigate the hordes. This gripping tale echoes themes found in post-apocalyptic novels and is a compelling addition to the science fiction books genre, showcasing the harsh realities of survival. Meanwhile, Joe and his family also find solace in Tai Chi writing projects, using the practice to maintain their mental and physical resilience amidst the chaos.

In this gripping tale reminiscent of post-apocalyptic novels, a teen athlete named Jeff finds himself accidentally transported to a forgotten world ravaged by dragons and monstrous Nukpana. To survive and seek a way home, he teams up with native hunters Kaia and Makia. Their perilous quest for a portal back to Earth leads them into the heart of a fortified city of survivors, making it a thrilling addition to the science fiction books genre. Along the way, Jeff discovers the importance of balance and focus, inspired by his Tai Chi writing projects.

John discovers and accidentally activates a portal back in time to Roman-era Britain, where he becomes a captive of Celtic tribes and a target of Roman legions. As he navigates this perilous environment, reminiscent of themes found in post-apocalyptic novels, John eventually finds a way home. However, he uncovers a millennia-old war between secret societies—the Knights Templar and the Romani—vying for control of the portals, a conflict that could easily be the basis for a gripping science fiction book. Additionally, he reflects on his Tai Chi writing projects, which inspire his journey through this chaotic landscape.

I enjoy survival movies and books of all kinds, particularly post-apocalyptic novels, but again, finding one that is well-written is a challenge. My attempt is to explore themes in science fiction books, focusing on EMP, nuclear attacks, asteroid strikes, tsunamis, and pandemics. This may evolve into a collection of short stories, with the most popular ones possibly becoming a novel and perhaps even a series, alongside my Tai Chi writing projects.

Who doesn't enjoy a good pirate treasure story? Inspired by my love for post-apocalyptic novels and science fiction books, I started writing 'The Island.' The narrative unfolds around pirate treasure that was taken by natives and sacrificed to their gods on an island off of Maine, blending elements that could even inspire future Tai Chi writing projects.
